The FWS-Basic flexible wavelength
selector combines the wavelength tunability and adjustable bandwidth of a
monochromator with the circular uniform aperture of a bandpass filter. It has
an aperture up to 10 mm, and comes
in models with tuning ranges covering
the visible spectrum. Full-width half-maximum bandwidth is adjustable from
1. 5 to 20 nm.
Fiber optic cables
The RQB fiber optic cables have use
with fiber lasers operating at continuous-wave power levels up to 1. 5 k W, as
well as pulsed lasers as high as 1 MW.
Their quartz block technology enables
use of antireflection coatings to reduce
overall losses to under 3%. They are
available with core diameters from 50
to 1000 µm, a 0.20 numerical aperture, and in lengths from 5 to 200 m.
External water cooling extends the maximum power rating to 3 k W.

The LCM-1200 liquid chiller module uses
a twin rotary compressor to achieve
cooling capacity to 1. 2 k W at 30°C
(coolant) and 20°C (ambient) temperatures. The compressor uses offset
pistons to reduce noise and vibration.
It is designed to cool lasers, electronics, laboratory devices, and medical
The H-811.i2 compact hexapod has a
parallel-kinematic design that provides
six degrees of freedom, making it more
compact and stiff than serial-kinematic
systems. It has travel ranges to ± 17 mm
of ± 21°, load capacity to 5 kg, repeatability to ±0.06 µm, and velocity to
20 mm/s. A version compatible with
vacuum to 10-6 hPa is available.

The XLIN-FC linescan SWIR InGaAs
detectors include the FC R with rectan-
gular pixels for spectroscopy applica-
tions and the FC SQ with square pixels
for machine vision. They have a high-
sensitivity readout integrated circuit for
use in low light, and high quantum effi-
ciency in the 900–1700 nm range.
Laser power meters
The BLU series wireless laser power
meters combine a detector and a
Bluetooth-enabled meter unit. An
app displays measurements on iOS
and Android smartphones and PCs.
Depending on environment, measurements may be made at up to 30 m.
The detectors range from milliwatts

The uM series micromanipulators from
Sensapax are configurable in the field,
and have unlimited scalability. They are
based on zero-drift solid-state drives
with integrated closed-loop control.
They have a 20 mm range with 5 nm
resolution and 100 nm repeatability, with virtual and physical fourth-axis options.

The MOFA laser combines passive
Q-switching with fiber amplification, and comes in two versions. The
PicoOne has a repetition rate up to 100
kHz, 30 k W peak power, and 500 ps
pulse duration. The PicoMega has a repetition rate to 1 MHz with pulse dura-
