New products
k W power to drive standard aluminum glow rods for ionization bombardment of substrates prior to a range of
vacuum coating processes. They may
also be used to provide DC bias to substrates in sputter systems.

Edge-grip optic mount
The HM- 1 Edge Grip Optic Mount uses
a patent-pending Edge Grip mounting
mechanism to hold the optic near to
its edge. This technique allows for easy
installation and removal of optics and
a smaller mount size. It can hold 1 in.
round or square filters, beamsplitters,
or mirrors.

Picosecond excitation laser
The Katana-05/06 HP picosecond
pulsed excitation laser delivers 532 and
635 nm wavelengths; when combined
with the Katana-08 HP 775 nm deple-
tion laser, they have use as stimulated
emission depletion (STED) lasers for
super-resolution microscopy. The com-
bination setup delivers a tunable pulse
repetition rate from pulse on demand
up to 120 MHz, while pulse duration
can range from sub- 20 ps up to 1 ns,
yielding efficient results for several dyes.

UV-VIS-NIR
spectrophotometer
The UV-3600 Plus UV-VIS-NIR spectrophotometer is equipped with three
detectors— photomultiplier tube
(PMT) for the UV and visible regions,
and indium gallium arsenide (InGa As)
and cooled lead sulfide (PbS) detectors
for the NIR region. A double monochromator attains a low stray-light level
(0.00005% max at 340 nm).

Laser power sensor
The 1000WP-BB- 34 high-power, water-cooled thermal sensor measures powers
from 5 to 1000 W, energy from 400 mJ
to 300 J, and spectral range from 190
